A SHORT BIOGRAPHY

    Kaushik Mandal received his B. Sc degree in Physics (H), B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Radio Physics and Electronics from the University of Calcutta, in 2001, 2004 and 2006 respectively. He received his Ph.D. (Tech.) from the University of Kalyani, in July 2014. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India.
    His areas of interest include the design of high gain wide band compact microstrip patch antennas, antennas for UWB communication, multi band antennas for wireless devices, antennas for RF energy harvesting system, SIW integrated microstrip antenna, and performance enhancement of microstrip antenna using frequency selective surface (FSS). He is a senior member of IEEE.
