Opportunity for Research Fellowship
at CTIF-India
Center for TeleInFrastruktur – India (CTIF-India) has been established as collaboration between CTIF, Aalborg University, Denmark and Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta for research in the area of Wireless Communication Technology. CTIF-India will recruit a Research Scholar to carry out a research project sponsored by Wireless Innovation Platform (WIP) Labs, Denmark.
Operational Details
- The Research Fellowship will be offered under a Sponsored Project to be executed at
(i) CTIF-India, Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India,
(ii) CTIF, Aalborg University, Denmark,
(iii) WIP Labs, Denmark,
(iv) any other CTIF organisation
- The topics of research will be:
(a) Wireless Personal Network,
(b) Development and Planning of Converged Networks.
- Supervision of the work will be conducted jointly.

A Note on the Research Topics
- Wireless Personal Network would be for allowing connectivity of user owned networks over heterogeneous radio access technologies.
- Development and Planning Wired and Wireless Network deployment is done independently. However, there is a high level of synergy between both planning and operating wired and wireless networks. The project would involve converging wired and wireless network planning.
Fellowship details:
