The full-paper must be submitted as a MS-WORD or PDF file in Camera-Ready format on or before October 15, 2006. The maximum page length for a contributory paper is 4 (four) and that for an Invited 6 (six). The authors are requested to maintain page-limit in prescribed format. Page limit or format violation may result in incomplete / erroneous reproduction even exclusion of paper from the Proceedings.
The size of each image file,if any, should not exceed 25KB and should have a file extension preferably either gif or jpg(jpeg). If the image file requires conversion (with respect to size), then the CODEC-06 committee will charge the author Rs.250(USD 25) for each conversion. The images should be embedded in the text.
The author (and co-authors, if any) is (are) requested to declare that the paper accepted for presentation in CODEC-06 has neither been published nor communicated elsewhere. Full-paper should also accompany filled-in CopyRight agreement form.You may send the copyright form to

Please note:
At least one of the authors of each paper must register in advance (before November 15,2006) and present the paper in the conference to ensure inclusion of the paper in the Conference Proceedings.One registered author can present a maximum of 2 (two) his/her accepted papers. In case,the author /authors of the paper wishes/wish to register at the Conference desk, he/she (or at least one author, if a paper has more than one author) should send a minimum of 50% of the applicable registration fee before November 15 (please see the website for details) just to confirm inclusion of the paper in the proceedings. The other facilities of registration will be available only after payment of the balance at the conference desk or earlier. Participants are encouraged to register early (before 15th Oct,06) to avail discounted rate.
