IAN GLOVER

IAN GLOVER is Reader in Radio Science & Wireless Communications at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK, where he is a member of the Institute for Communications & Signal Processing in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering. He has previously held academic posts at the Universities of Bradford and Bath (both in the UK). His research interests include microwave radio propagation on terrestrial and Earth-space paths, wireless channel impairments and impairment mitigation. He is a member of Commission E of the International Union of Radio Science and an Associate Editor of The Radio Science Bulletin. He is the author, with Peter Grant, of Digital Communications (1998, 2004) published by Pearson and the editor (with Peter Shepherd and Stephen Pennock) of Microwave Devices, Circuits and Subsystems for Communications Engineering (2005) published by Wiley.
