KAREN EGIAZARIAN

KAREN EGIAZARIAN received M.Sc. in mathematics from Yerevan State University (1981), Ph.D. in physics and mathematics from Moscow M.V. Lomonosov State University (1986) and Doctor of Technology from Tampere University of Technology, Finland (1994). He is a Professor in the Institute of Signal Processing of Tampere University of Technology, Finland. His research interests are in areas of applied mathematics, digital logic, signal and image processing. He is a coauthor (with S. Agaian and J. Astola) of the book Binary Polynomial Transforms and Nonlinear Digital Filters, Marcel Dekker, Inc. (1995) and of many book chapters.
