SUNIL RANJAN DAS SUNIL RANJAN DAS received his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees
from the University of Calcutta and then joined the University of Ottawa
as a postdoctoral Fellow on leave from the University of Calcutta. Following
his return to India and then from visiting positions in Taiwan, he joined
the University of Ottawa in the newly established Computer Engineering
option of the Electrical department. After a distinguish career at the
University of Ottawa he retired in 2002 and was appointed Professor Emeritus.
He is now also Professor in the department of Computer and Information
Science at Troy State University in Montgomery Alabama. He is well known
for his outstanding contributions I switching theory and digital design
research, where he is recognized as a world expert. He is a pioneer in
micro-architecture and micro-programming optimization research. He has
also made significant contributions in fault-tolerant computing, and in
graph theory and combinations. |
